At the core of our dental practice is a friendly team of professionals that are dedicated to your utmost comfort and optimal oral health. We view each patient as a unique individual, and tailor each treatment to your specific needs. As part of our commitment to providing close, personalized attention to every patient, we want to encourage patient communication. Please know that we are here to provide outstanding patient care, and that we value the trust you have placed in us.
When you call our office you will be greeted by Lori C, Toneta, or Rita. Rita Kerrigan began with our office in 1981 after studying Mid-Management at Ball State University. In 1991, after 10 years of being a dental assistant for Dr. Donnally, Rita became our office manager. Many of you know Lori Clark as our former hygiene assistant, her employment with us dates back to 1987. She then left to work at MSSL returning in 2004. Lori is now our hygiene coordinator. When your conversation involves hygiene Lori will be the one scheduling your appointment. Toneta Bailey, our financial coordinator, has been with us since 2014. She will assist you with any insurance or payment question that you may have. She comes to us from a career in banking and insurance.
Your first appointment with our hygiene staff will get you acquainted with Lori Thien, Chrissy Hart, Amy Heckman, or Lindsey Ray. Lori Thien graduated from FRHS then after graduating from Rhodes State College she came to our office in 1998 as a hygienist. Also graduating from Rhodes State College is Chrissy Hart. Chrissy began her career as a hygienist in 1998 and joined our office in 2004. Amy Heckman also worked here during her years at Jay County High School and has been our substitute hygienist since 2014. Lindsey Ray is also a JCHS graduate who went on to pursue her Dental Hygiene degree and we feel fortunate to add her to our team. Marilyn Laux officially retired March 2024, you may see her at a local greenhouse or out in her yard. She has earned her free time.
When you arrive for your appointment with Dr. Vormohr you will meet. Tiffany Auker is an expanded duties assistant with 5 years experience who is a welcome addition to our staff in 2022. Lexi Steed is an expanded duties assistant who joined our staff after working in the dental field for 7 years. She is also a Jay County native. Breanna Dirksen is spending her senior with us before pursuing a career in dental hygiene. Our latest addition is Rylee Hambrock who spent some time with us during JCHS ICE program. She will be chairside assisting Dr. Vormohr as she earns her radiology certificate, expanded functions certificate. If you're lucky you may see Claudia Caster who started working in our office right out of high school. She was then employed at CTS until coming back to become an expanded duties assistant in 1986. She is trying to fully retire but the patients and staff just won't let her.
